Pennsylvania Trigger Point Dry Needling Status

Dry Needling is accepted internationally as a tool of physical therapy.

Physical Therapy clinicians throughout the country are working with their state boards to gain acceptance of this technique.

Pennsylvania TDN State Status

As of 9/23/11 the board issued a statement saying they do not consider TDN to be within the scope of practice for PT's.  However below is a letter that was issued by the state board's legal counsel stating they may not make a statement one way or the other.  We recommend contacting your board to voice your concern, interest and ask to have the topic revisited as it seems they are conflicting.

As of 9/30/11 the state of Pennsylvania has awarded 25.5 CEU's for Our Dry Needling Courses from 4/2011 until 12/31/2012.

For further info and experience with TDN we would like to invite you to attend one of our Level 1 or Level 2 TDN training courses.
