New York Trigger Point Dry Needling Status

Dry Needling is accepted internationally as a tool of physical therapy.

Physical Therapy clinicians throughout the country are working with their state boards to gain acceptance of this technique.

New York TDN State Status

New york has made a statement against physical therapist performing TDN. Currently we are communicating with the New York State Board to overturn the decision as the scope of practice does not deny TDN but the board ruled in 2007 that therapists will not perform it as of now and they may revisit the topic at a later time.
