Note: The Level 1 TDN/ IMT course is an extremely intensive course with a large focus on anatomy.   There is a requirement for strong palpation skills, anatomy knowledge of muscle function, nerve innervation and pain referral patterns (Myotomes & Dermatomes).  Reading articles & research is highly recommended for theoretical information but not required.  Plan to study anatomy  in advance as well as theoretical information over the weekend of the course for the written tests.

  • Clothing & Dress: Plan to dress in comfortable, loose fitting clothing, that can easily be adjusted as several different muscles will need to be accessible for your partners practical application. Shorts are recommended and sports bras or tank tops for women. If you have a water bottle and an anatomy book-bring it!

You will e-mail it to lesley@kinetacore.com  2 weeks prior to the level 2 course you choose to take.

Travell and Simons Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction: The Trigger Point Manual Volume 1 and Volume 2.

Any anatomy book or CD for the pelvic floor/pelvic girdle musculature

Muscles to be covered in this Advanced Course will be:

  • Thoracic Spine
  • Abdominal mm.
  • All pelvic and reproductive musculature
  • Adductors reviewed from Level I and New muscles from Level II.
  • Posterior hip review of Level I and New muscles from Level II.

If you have taken the Advanced Course some of the content will be reviewed but greater competency will be expected for practical testing.


Please Note: As this course includes extensive lab work, all course attendees should come prepared to participate as both clinician and patient.  Pelvic floor muscle examinations and treatment will be taught in labs. 
Pregnant women may not participate in this course due to risks associated with the practical sessions.
