Introductory (Level 1) Trigger Point Dry Needling Courses

An introductory certification course in Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) / Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT) for evaluation and treatment of neuromyofascial pain and dysfunction present in both the acute and chronic orthopedic population. Instruction will include evaluation and application of dry needling of neuromyofascial trigger points for musculature which is considered appropriate at the introductory level of training. This course will also cover topics of safety, clean needling techniques, and review of the supporting literature. This course is designed for physical therapists but is appropriate for DC, MD’s and DO's. Acupuncturists may take this course but need to have a strong background in anatomy of the deep musculature and their function with movement, etc. Course fee includes the following; Continental breakfast, Lunch, Supplies for the course, and comprehensive manual.
